Recently I bought some cheap Kodak 800 speed film the three layer stuff not four color layer Fuji I usually get. I didn't know what the difference would be till I got the film back. The difference was seen in the very first print GRAINY. I have had the same camera and been shooting the same film for over 6 years this was the first time I used anything different. The guy at the camera shop where I bought the film told me this film would be grainier because each layer of film has grain and the extra layer makes that 800 speed look the same as 400.
